SCRIP

  Scrip is an opportunity for parents and members to help pay tuition

by purchasing gift cards.  Each card has a percent payback in exchange for

pre-sale.  Examples: Barnes and Noble has a $10 card with a 13% payback,

which means you earn $1.30 for each $10 card purchased.  Cub Foods offers

$100 cards with a payback of 2%, which would earn $2 for every hundred

spent. Items to chose from include: grocery, gas, restaurants, retail and

entertainment.  A complete list can be viewed at www.glscrip.com.  This is

great for everyday spending, for gifts, or for planning your vacation.  All

it takes is a little planning to order what you might need for the upcoming

week or two.  Orders are placed on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, with

orders being distributed by Friday of that same week.  Payments are not

deposited until the cards have been distributed.  TEL helps to sponsor this

program by paying for the initial cost of the cards and the shipping costs

that are incurred so that 100% of the profit goes directly towards the

tuition payment. Earnings are tallied with each order and paid out

quarterly.
